constant shade of green

Constant Shade of Green
April 2008

My iTunes: Marionette by Jars of Clay

This is one of my favorite portraits I've taken.

Meet Constance. We lived together in London. I took this on the Tube in Camden Town when we were waiting for the next train to come.

Surgery is today. Starting at midnight, no food or drink. I'm not nervous about the surgery, more so about dealing with the pain up until surgery as I travel to the hospital and wait to be checked in. Since standing is now horribly painful, the whole idea of waiting in the waiting room scares me more than surgery...

Wish me luck, and thank you for all your prayers! Not sure if I'll be posting tomorrow or not.

Great project greens! I like the title of this one - with your friend's name being Constance - cute!
Good luck with your surgery - it's AMAZING what they can do these days! Hope you're feeling 100% in no time!

Enjoyed your Project Green. Come check out my green sand pails. I'm still trying to get the sand outta my shorts! :D

Great background and I will be praying and thinking of you tomorrow!

Isn't it great how a green wall that probably wasn't noticed when the picture was taken can surface thoughts and memories? This picture is obviously about so much more than green.

I'll be sure to pray for you. Are you bringing your camera? Ha ha.

LOVE it! I remember when you took this and we were all "ooo-ing and ahhh-ing" because the background was the same color as her eyes.

Hi Christy,
Gosh, this looks like a print AD!
Gorgeous!
I too liked your play on words in the title - clever.

Prayers do go with you.
See you soon!
