Nice composition- the b&w gives it an old world look. I just scrolled down too and agree with Robert about the contrast of your previous posts - which were lovely BTW.
Keep up the good work. Your images are GORGEOUS! I can't believe that you even take time to publish when your life is so busy. Keep us posted on your finals results. (I'm married to a professor- they really don't grade the finals too hard- they are DONE for the semester too!)
Honestly, I would have to say I like the original better... I loved the contrasting blue sky and the dark color of the metal lamp. Just my 2 cents for whatever it's worth. :-)

Short and sweet. I like the b&w on this. Scrolling through your pages it is a nice contrast with the previous color you've posted.
I'd say "good luck" with finals but I don't believe in luck. So I'll pray for endurance. And rest. And remaining free of stress. :)

It's a simple shot but yet beautiful. I always like b&w picture.
