My iTunes: Think of Me by Andrew Lloyd Webber
It's been a while since I've been able to get internet access... just a few more weeks until I'm back to my laptop and wireless internet connection! I took this picture at the Camden Lock Markets a couple weeks ago. Camden Town is just north of Central London, right up the Northern Tube Line. Camden has a unique flavor in and of itself, and the markets are just fantastic. I'm sure I'll be posting more pictures of Camden later on!

My iTunes: I Want Everything by Out of the Grey
I love taking close up picture of flowers, especially ones that are either bright or really exotic. Without fail, each time I visit Europe, in addition to the pictures of things that are distinctively European, I bring home a collection of flower photos. This one was also taken at Grimsdyke along with the picture of the duck pond from the last post. I really liked the yellow color -- the warm tones make me feel happy and cheerful. Hope it does the same for you!

humble posting
I'm finally breaking down and starting my own daily photo blog, although I won't be posting on a daily basis until the end of August or beginning of September. I've been reading them for ages and have been falling more and more in love with photography, so everything seems to point to a daily photo blog. I apologize in advance for the photographs -- my friends tell me that they love to see my photographs, but every time I see a real photographer's work, I know that I have a long way to go. But for those of you who wish to see a little of the world through my lens, I will gladly share the results of dumb luck and a good camera!

My iTunes: Own Me by Ginny Owens
I took this photo a few weeks ago when I visited Grimsdyke, the old mansion that belonged to Gilbert & Sullivan in Harrow just outside Central London. The house is beautiful and the gardens more so. There is a duck pond just a stone's throw from the house, and the old boat rests on the shore line. I love the natural colors of this shot and the reflection off the water.
